ANGIE KANG is the author and illustrator of Our Lake (Kokila/Penguin) and My Grandma the Stranger (Kokila/Penguin). She is the illustrator of Navigating Night, written by Julie Leung (Anne Schwartz/Random House). Her work has received a Caldecott Honor, the Charlotte Zolotow Award, the Boston Globe–Horn Book Award, and the Dilys Evans Founders’ Award. She was a 2026 Sendak Fellow and a 2024 Ezra Jack Keats Fellow at MacDowell.
